Why We Use Grain Alcohol
 
We use grain alcohol, a naturally derived ingredient, rather than synthetic isopropyl alcohol in our alcohol-based products. These are different types of alcohol with different intended uses. Grain alcohol can be used as an ingredient in personal care, fragrance, and other formulated products, while isopropyl alcohol is commonly used as a disinfectant and cleaning solvent. Isopropyl alcohol also has a distinctive sharp, pungent odor, while grain alcohol has a much milder scent, making it a better choice for our fragrance and room-freshening products.

Grain alcohol is also a higher-cost ingredient, which contributes to the price of our alcohol-based products and cleaner. We believe choosing the right ingredients is worth the additional cost.
